To prepare the Syrup: Put all the ingredients into a pan, bring to a light boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. After that, turn off the burner and let it to cool fully. Pour to a sterilised bottle, close it and store chilled, where it will keep for up to a month.

To make Batch Mix: Combine all the spirits and syrup into a big jug, allow it to infuse for one hour, then pass it through best through cheesecloth, making it fully clarified.

When ready to serve: Pour 85ml from the cocktail base into your mixing glass containing ice, and agitate carefully for one minute to chill. Filter into a frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, top with some cranberries and complete it by giving it a quick spritz of the essential oil above the glass.
